我叫KC，大約3~4年前已經開始遊覽你個網頁，好開心難得見到一個咁堅持、咁有恆心去寫一個關於自己對車既一個網頁。唔好停，我好想繼續一路睇落去。
我十幾廿年前第一次接觸Fiat係架UNO 1.4Turbo，當時我朋友玩緊架子彈CRX，有日搵佢幫我剪頭髮，佢拎住份cataloge問我呢架車點，睇0~100仲快過架CRX..........我話個駕駛倉咁好似飛機駕駛倉咁既..........一個月後再搵佢剪頭髮，佢門口已經泊o左架紅色UNO。當時我仲細，仲係學神，乜都唔識，淨係覺得真係好快，逢車過車，跟著日後都成日留意UNO/PUNTO，可惜冇錢。
我40歲人車齡只有10年，乜都唔識，請多多指教。我依家揸緊Smart Forfour，我買呢架車之前有睇過147 M/T，當時佢最尾果批棍波只賣18萬幾........可惜賣淨display架黑色，冇我想要既紅色，最後行o下行o下就買o左架Smart(o丫，其實我係攝影記者，Forfour係我車版同事推介)。
 
言歸正傳，我最近o係英國訂o左套EBC brake pad返黎，可惜搵極都搵唔到brake碟(Smart實在太少野改)。我車房話你隻碟行o左萬六公里，咁新唔使換啦，拎去'光'咪得囉，仲平.............跟著我就諗起我曾經o係你呢度睇過一篇關於開皮/碟(真係o係你度，我學o左唔少野)。睇返你話過唔好用'光'過既碟去開皮，要用舊碟/皮，點解呢?如果用新皮、新碟又點呢?
 
另外仲有一個問題，最近我心思思想搵架上一代既ALFA Spider玩(查實自156facelift之後就開始中o左ALFA毒)，睇過兩架..........唔係好得同唔係好識揀，可唔可以教o下我呢?

Hello KC,
  thank you very much for the letter, i am truly overjoyed for your support. I will keep up the writing. Recently I spent a lot of time writing for 信報, didn't write anything in my web. Quite upset because of that.
  Wahh Uno, I envy your chance to experience the first turbo UNO, i can only imagine its existence.
  Just did some search over the internet and seems that no high performance brake disc is made for ForFour. Bad bad.
  It is not late to try italian motors anytime now, because i think we have established our support more than just an enthusiast club. 
  About the brake bed-in procedure, it is actually not any secret. Just imagine you are cooking a 12oz sirloin steak, you have to cook it in a gentle way, keep the heat, but not overdone it, otherwise it will be burnt and useless. gentlely use the brake to heat it, drive in usual manner to cool it, then repeat the cycle for about 10 times as the beginning. Then drive in usual gentle manner for about 200-300km during daily usage. Just don't over cook it. After that, you will have a very excellent brake performance. It may be clumsy, but actually just use it normally for 300km will be OK.
   The idea of Bed-in is to allow brake pad material to get onto the metal of the brake disc, so that when brake pad material is fully on the brake disc metal, then it will be like brake pad rubbing brake pad. old disc/new pad, is suitable for track use, to bed in as short distance as possible, because there is limited track time. For road use, it is not problem, new disc/new pad is good enough.
   Well, let me stop here. too much talking la.

Dear Simon

 I first wrote to you years ago for advice and I know we never managed to meet up.

I am now thinking the unthinkable – selling my Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo

 I could hand it to a dealer here but I would rather sell it to someone who cares for and wants this car.

 I bought it from Italian Motors in 1997 and it has about 34,000 km on the clock.  It is in pretty good condition and needless to say I have a great time driving it.

 If you or club members are interested, I can send you some photos.

 I look forward to hearing from you.

Really surprise to know that we still have 20v turbo Coupe unseen in Hong Kong.
Yes, we do have people looking for Coupe but I still hope you will keep your Coupe because at this moment, we have finally manage to maintain our italian babies in good shape and in reasonable expenses.
How about we meet up this sunday? We have a team of Coupe gathering every Sunday just talking silly things.

urgent to replace water tank asap, will be so much appreciate if you can help and leave me the way that I can meet you if possible w/ thanks.
any suggestions to source logo reliable new one, or original I'm fine.
　
2nd, pilot panel to re-tighten up & re-arrangement some fuse box / relay, as they were old and loosely fit.
　
3rd, idle valve replacement later on.
　
4th, please suggest suspension kits w/ thanks, my choice is koni sport adjustable, spring to order koni version or eibach if so with 20mm or 40mm less low down ? ok ?
front or front + rear both to use same koni or together with bilstein ?

Radiator should be the thing.
1.In fact, for convenience we can order all parts from Hong Kong Alfa Romeo dealer in Kowloon Bay tel.23056187
2.pilot panel? what is it?
3.idle valve has stopped production, but we have a source from Taiwan.
4. shocks, I highly prefer Bilstin with Eibach B6 Sport kit -35mm, to go further with coilover, I recommend KW 2 .
5. meeting yes!!! we have regular sunday meeting, if you like come and have breakfast together.
What is the colour of your Coupe. Didn't recognize that we still have unsee 16v turbo around in Hong Kong.

Hello Simon,

Your message are most useful for a new learner (want to
buy a Fiat Coupe).  Low cost Insurance without loading, medium size of the car, attractive Italian Style especially the interior, affortable price for a 2nd hand used car. 

Understand that there are no Fiat Agent in Hong Kong and less than 15 Coupe on the road.  If any one damagae  then the quantities will come down. I believe many people are interesting to purchase this model  because they understand you are having an expereiences garage to reapir this model of car.

Do you consider to import the used car ( I means the 2nd hand car ) from EU.  As you said, all parts are purchsed from UK, there is not a problem for sourcing this Coupe in UK.  I learn from one of the member of Fiat Red Coupe on 23 Oct., he said  20 V Turbo will be the best choice for Hong Kong.  You will try to order 2 sets of this Model, if the market is good then will become a 2nd hand agent in H K.  The major color will be Red, Yellow, Silver & Black.

Any other Lancia owners in HK aside from the Integrale in the photos?
I am rebuilding an S1 Montecarlo Spider in HK (See photo) and have a
Bertone X1/9 that's on the road as well.

Saw an Integrale (dark blue) near Luk Keng Village Sunday morning,
along with a bunch of Fiat Coupes. Very nice.

版主你好,本人很欣賞你的website,資料很詳盡及有用.
本人大概於一個月前買了架二手Pnuto Cabriolet 00年1200cc 有以下問題請教不知可否告知小弟:
架車要行1.10/km 以1200cc黎講似乎不太合理,,有否需要換air flow sensor及會否慳油一點哩及有否其他意見可減少油耗.

I am the new owner of a 1993 Red Lotus Esprit SE Turbo High-Wing. (was advertised in 28car.com or car8.com)
I have contacted the owner of a 1996 Yellow Lotus V8 Twin Turbo(was advertised in carcity.com.hk), the owner of a 2000 Yellow Lotus V8 Twin Turbo(was displayed at the Wanchai convention center car park). He also owns a 4-cylinder version Esprit SE Turbo

We are trying to contact all the Esprit owner in HK....(I am trying to join the hkfiatclub forum now)
Hopefully, we may organize an Esprit group meeting or something, who knows.

If you can forward my information to the new owner of the 1990 Lotus Esprit Turbo, I will really appreciated.

 從貴網頁得知閣下都擁有一部Ford Fiesta, 小弟上個月亦都買左部二手嘅嚟玩吓 (02製造/03登記), 貪佢個波箱過癮、外型幾討好、價錢相宜。

經過一個月來共1,500km嘅駕駛, 始終未能習慣Durashift EST波箱嘅特性，頭痛問題如下:

1.          Auto Mode狀態下, 1波轉2波或者2波轉3波都顯得突兀，轉數好似keep唔到咁

2.          塞車時，清楚感到離合器開開合合, 好唔自然 (唔知會唔會影響耐用性?)

3.          Auto Mode狀態下, Kick-down反應甚慢, 上斜時尤甚 (2波唔夠力, 入1波又太”chok”)

4.          正常行車時轉數經常偏低, 好似好難”踩”番起部車

5.          早上撻車時，波箱寧舍唔順，要等5-10分鐘warm-up先正常番

上述情況唔知Simon兄有無遇到, 定係我自己個波箱有問題?

頒請指點迷津!

P.S. 我上個月先番荃灣森那美換波箱油同Re-programming, 佢地話我波箱正常

auto mode 只啱要揸電話又要揸車時用
4.          正常行車時轉數經常偏低, 好似好難”踩”番起部車
無乜力麻! 要拖低一兩個波先得
5.          早上撻車時，波箱寧舍唔順，要等5-10分鐘warm-up先正常番
我又唔覺喎, 車 - 要一撻即着, 一行即快

~ 有無此款車更詳細資料.
~ 可在那裡可找到此款二手車.

Dear Simon,

Your website is brilliant! There is so much useful info. contained in the
section 'your letters'.
Its so ironic to discover your website only when I've finally decided to
sell my Fiat Punto Cabriolet after owning it for 7 years !! (a very lonely 7
years without a Fiat agent in HK)

It has been a nighmare for me (especially someone who knows nothing on cars) to maintain, especially with my 'not-so-fiat-experienced' mechanic.  I ended up replacing almost every spare part (ordered direct from UK) you can think of ... including the rear screen (HKD 5,000K) and 3-4 god-knows-what pumps which each costed between GPB 80 - 200 ... to keep it well maintained.

I absolutely adore my car so much that I only just realized its been 12
months since I've bought my new car, with my Fiat tucked away in a carpark,absorbing expenses on rental, insurance, vehcle reg. ........ Now I've finally decided to let it find a better owner.

Do you know anyone in the club who is interested in buying a Yellow Punto Cabriolet ? 97/98(Manual) ?

Hong Kong Automobile Association is a non-profit organization and have been serving the Hong Kong motorist for 88 years.
Last year Asia was hit by a tsunami crisis therefore HKAA organized its first charity drive on the 16th Jan 2005.
Since this event has proofed to be a sucess therefore we would be organizing a 2nd charity event. Round the island drive.

For the BERU plugs, we have the UXF79P in stock. I will check the other
models for you.

For the SACHS products, can you send me the list of models that you want
the clutch and sport shock absobers (e.g., model name, year, C.C.,

  I must say that renovo is a VERY good cleaner for MX-5's canvas top. It restores its darkness, last up to a few weeks.
  I think you have to order it from UK. The complete set for canvas top is about HKD300. But it is really good and can last up to 10 cleans.
  if you have friends in UK, it can be bought from some common stores like Halford.
  Come out for a chat.

These are quite common problem on convertible top.
After some years of using, it will start to harden. When the top is folded, it will tear open abit. Then most owners will put some glue to it. But it won't last, when the top is folded again, the crack reappears.
No chance to cure the problem, you have to live with it.

i  completely looked thru and finished ur web site, nice job mate. In fact i came back from uk 2 yrs ago, have seen loads of coupe there but didn't have much feeling at that moment until this yr, my mind has been change due to unknown reason(even stronger after i've seen ur site), i fell in love with her. there's 2 coupes on the market and i like the one from bobby's 16vt (actually I'm looking for 20vt), think u must know a lot abt his car, any comment to me?how's the condition? he offer 43000 but that must be some room to go further down ain't it? also, my baby just arrived and i'd like to know the rear seat room if there's enough to fit 3 adults or a baby seat. I got 7yrs licence,25yrs old but 0% ncb, and idea of the insurance? are there any 20vt for sell at this moment? really look forward to your reply~ thanks mate!

ahhaa.... it's so great to hear that you are adventurous to look for a Coupe. Honestly, Fiat in Hong Kong has maintenance problems, but its beauty and fun is to keep it going. Just like keeping a horse, difficult but rewarding. You know what i mean.

My friend, i have to reassure your decision to part with your LE.
First, Fiat Coupe can be rated as the best FWD. LE is with uprated
suspension, 20v turbo final series are real smooth and powerful. That
combination makes Coupe LE 20v turbo the most balanced car in handling.
Since you have already experienced this very good car, the feeling is
already in your blood. Parting with it may not be a bad decision.
Now, it's time to save some up for the next stage to further your vision and
experience on this automotive world. Don't bother to fancy another FWD, it
will never be as good as Coupe. FWD, you have tasted the best.
I do recommend you to seek a Boxster. Yes, I am not kidding, it is
expensive. But it worths the waiting or planning. Wait for it to depreciate
or plan for some budgetting. Boxster is the next stage.
Well... don't think about it too much, you have the money and the new blood.

Hi, My name is Ellis Tai.  One day when I was browsing through the Coupe Car Park, I found my ex-car previously.

The owner is “未知“…just find it interesting seeing my ex-car there....

I bought the car brand new in 1997 (it was in yellow color when brand new), did the color change in 1999 (if I remember correctly) and sold it to a foreigner in year 2000.

The car has equipped with the body kit as you see in the picture, and Koni springs and suspension.

Do you know who is the current owner of the car?

Where did you guys get the picture from (guess from the 2nd hand car website, right?)?

Anyway, the website was good designed and maintained.  Well done guys!

今日終於整好水溫問題, 完來呢架車本身溫度高, 所以換哂所有野都無用, 所以決定唔用水膽,
點知.............得左.............. 無哂問題, 仲有呀! 原來MX5 水膽成 88度先開, 所以架車無可能低過88度
真係有D問題, 見Website 上你話你架5仔都有水滾茶靚既問題, 可能都係先兆!!!  現附上MX5 零件圖,
希望岩用!!!

 不要拆去那水膽, 那只是會sensor顯示温度低, 並不有實際減温之用
 所有車的引擎理想工作温度是90度, 並沒問題，肯定全部水路零件運作正常才是正確方法

首先，就是你們對愛車的熱情，意大利車和法國車嘛....那款比較多毛病呢？可能都差不遠。但是你們對愛駒真有「不離不棄」的精神，或者是Fiat coupe真的是太美了，而且在香港怎樣說也是比較少見，所以大都願意花時間和心血去維修。我真的希望我們的會員也能像你們般有毅力去「保住」自己的車。

多謝你讚賞我們的Coupe呢。其實唔止靚架，幾好揸又有力。我很小心打理他因為覺得他有保留價值，令他重拾昔日光輝。咁我就好似只係用幾萬銀就揸到當年三十幾萬蚊的跑車。好化算！
建立網頁要慢慢來吧。這網頁已有年半了，每天寫少少，加埋成550日，就算每日寫一個鐘，都有550小時，以返工一至五朝九晚五來計即係68個工作天，亦即係三個月！試想，三個月喎，返工咁返法，可以話我除正職外，有多三個月寫網頁。幾好玩，只可惜自已懶，沒有用心重整內容。
努力呀Dave, 車會幾好玩架

 其實意大利車不是多毛病的，只是不易整，和手法不當，而令感冒菌上腦，引發併發症而猝死。其實快意幾好呀。

  Thank you for your compliment.
  The MX-5 has been restored into a very nice condition, it's like a new car to me.
  The workshop is Mazda dealer workshop in Sun Ying Industrial Centre, 9 Tin Wan Close, Aberdeen. They are the dealer, so, they have been dealing with repairing MX-5 since MX-5 launch 13 years ago. So, i feel comfortable to let them take care of it. I was their staff before, so they gave me pretty good discount.
  Just drive up there and let them have a look. They will quote you price for all the defects as well.

Hi Simon,

For your information my Punto has been sold in 18K to Joe who is member
of you Fiat Club and is the first one to contact me while Patrick is the
second. There are totally five enquiries for my car and what I can do is to
take a first come first serve basis and I am so sorry to make other four
guys including Patrick so disappointed.

Here I have to thank for your help once again. If one day I have to stay
back in HK I will buy a Fiat car again and by then I will need your help
once more. Hoping have chance to really meet you and learn something from
you in the coming future.

1.跑車殼外形當然令耗油減低! 因為Total Resistance = Cd x A  , Total Resistance即是總風阻, Cd即是阻力系數, A即是車正面面積。
   阻力系數和傳統人們對流線型的理解差不多，例如福士舊甲蟲Cd=0.48-0.49、波子911Cd=0.38-0.39。要流線型，就車頭唔好頓，車尾唔好斬尾Civic咁，頭玻璃唔好咁企，門、沙板夾口位要窄和整齊
   車正面面積，福士舊甲蟲A=1.8、波子911 A=1.78
   結果總風阻, 福士舊甲蟲有0.86-0.88而波子911 有0.68-0.69
   (總風阻+呔的滾動阻力) x 車速 = 所損耗馬力, 所以車的馬力越大車速可以越高
  
2.尾翼作用是在加強下壓力和擾流之間的平衡。如尾翼過大令正面面積大了，便會令耗油量上升，因加大了A的數值嘛。又或角度太大，會令Cd增加，又係會令耗油量上升。而且，所有下壓力都是在140km/hr以上才會產生有用的下壓力。所以尾翼不是隨便加便有用。

Thought you might like to know that there is a white Lancia Integrale that travels from 石崗 to 八鄉 area in the mornings. Have seen him a couple of times already and I think it belongs someone from the one of the scrapyards around there. Saw him just this morning 8:45ish outside of 八鄉警署.  Good luck if you do decide to track him down. (If you don't already knew him!)

客氣的說話不多說了.........  正所謂... 傭人自擾, 就請你聽我胡說八道一番啦.  話說小弟(牌齡尚淺)現在養緊一架遠年(91) BMW E30 325i , 它的身子...番黎既時候已經係好一般下... 但求行得走得咪算囉.  年紀大, 機器壞... 避震又開始打柴(愈來愈唔好楂啦.).  最近, 開始諗下佢既前途問題...  諗住整番"四正"D, 玩多幾年都好丫....  點知, 原來好多野都唔係咁容易買到架喎...  好多野爛左就冇.  就好似"鈴"咁, 估唔到一套 fit E30 Offset 既 Rim 原來係好難好難搵, 已經唔會有得買(仲未搵到, 但又唔捨得上網訂).  唉... 總之, 好苦惱啦...  所以, 家陣諗緊繼續養佢定係搵過第二架好呢?  好煩.
 
我想問... 你部 MX-5 響邊度搵架?  一本大便?  點解你會買一架十二年既開蓬車?  你唔怕要比好多錢整嗎?  另外, 請問點樣分唔同既 MX-5 版本?  因為有 d 唔係 v-spec 但係都會有桃木軚 & 波的, 咁 v-spec 同其他又有咩分別呀?  我有睇過你那些 link, 但係, 係咪好多特別版香港都唔會有的?  以你過來人既身份, 買二手 MX-5 有 d 咩一定要留意o架?  十分十分十分唔該晒!!

  E30...一架好車。怎麼要放棄他呢？你知我吧？我一定會勸你修復她。想當年我想找E30 M3 棍仔, 原來香港絕無僅有，於是放棄了念頭而遇上這快意Coupe！原來是一個更好選擇。
  MX-5 V-Spec.. 她並不是想像中的車。人人話好玩好玩，我就唔多覺。頂多開篷令人好好Feel。改裝升級零件咪同架Coupe一樣咁貴，又係要訂貨。只係香港人人識整，所以整車又平又快。但係個篷會爛，一整要幾千，好似唔多值。所以... 要劈? 要改MX-5... ?唔好啦，正常當腳車就最好。貪佢幾耐用可靠。
  E30 BBS鈐.. 原裝是14吋嗎?6J或6.5Jx14 用195/65R14呔嗎？6" rim width: 35mm offset ; 6½" rim width: 30mm offset ; 4x100 cts mm bolt holes, centre hubs are 57mm,我還以為BMW件很易找呢！
  我會選擇在美國訂件，Boge或Bilstein避震，Eibach彈弓，BBS 7Jx15吋鈴。 在香港買205/55R15 呔，因車只重1080kg，我仍會用RE-01。
  換晒水喉，水泵，cam帶啤令，check check軚喉，極力子，偈躉膠 ，迫力皮碟，度度軚尺，加一個全面換油波箱油迫力油... .洗車打腊，架車就會新車一樣。不要放棄E30呵！

聽說你有一交通意外, 是由用錯呔所引起, 主角是205GTi嗎?這款車不錯.
我巧合也有同一故事, Simon有時間不仿看看.
97年9月, 本人第一次做車主(CORONA), 心情Simon應明白, 不述. 第一時間走去換呔. 當時大Tec好友已告知, 呔不要慳, 用D記大4方格R呔(D93J), 但本人因$問題, 卻選用D記W10. $2100: 195/55/15: 太子合X基.
Spce: W1 to W10 to FM901 to DZ101.大約3年轉一款. 按我所知, 這已是D 記在H.K.高性能呔了(不計R呔). 這系列有一特色, 呔紋給人非常Sporty的感覺.
98年12月, 告士打道西行上灣仔北橋右轉落杜老誌道北行, 即灣仔運動場和新鴻基中心中間條橋. 當時我行右線, 車速已不記得, 但頗為高速的, 直至過了彎心及最高點, 便覺得車尾有點響左走, 心想: 幣! 出事了! 常識及即時反應:反呔(向左)及放開油門. 但仍改不了事實, 整輛車撞向左邊三合土防撞欄(四輪飄移!). 當時又亂又恐, 舞了一論, 捱了落橋, 過了燈口便在泳池邊停了. 動彈不得.  左尾輪下臂斷了. A柱之前的整份車頭歪了. 左前呔爆了. 左前門開不到. 妙在車還不死火及A/C, 收音机還著. 前后只是幾秒鐘的事. 
一) 可能我路面經驗不夠, 車速過高, 補夠動作做錯. 可能該段路面設計不好, 彎心及最高位在同一點, 我的車子好像被拋高了. 97or98年年初三有部城巴在那裹倒下了.
二) 肯定W10不是好呔, 只好過原裝呔. 改呔唔好慳. 肯定改車先改呔再改避震, 因硬避震加雞呔初時都會令人錯覺架車好好彎.
三)好彩冇撞到人, 車及公物.
四)唔好彩唔見$17XXX.
五)原來FF車都會甩尾(車子是先撞車尾)
某種原因, 繼續和CORONA一起. 99年尾, 另一好友(大tec/AT/ S-02)話同我走番轉. 心想W10連已自顧不掂, 何況同S-02比(BS的S-02真是睇得駛得). 急謀對策, 因$有限, 找了Y記A520幫手. (spec.A520已經是Y記二佬, 大佬是AD05/6. 215 40/17, $3600, 清風街X記.) 試了數月, 一次東隧出港島往柴灣方向右轉隧道內, 未到100km/h又響了, 失望.....
机緣巧合, 好友告密: 要克制S-02只有一方法, 用RE-711吧! 又靜又咬(只次於R呔), 和S-02各有所長. $作怪, 新加二手. 12XX一條, 215/40/17, 清風街X記. 00年年初一戰, 有收穫. 平時快走, 又得! 從此愛死BS.
01年8月, 換了VW GOLF VR6, 養二線牌子德國車, 很後悔(對我這普通人來說.) RE-01($4000, 蓮花宮西街, X祥記, 行貨), 的故事, 不述. 最近我決心換R呔, 目標鎖定BS的55S, 可惜16吋冇得賣(曰本出了一年, 黃杜才有15吋行貨賣). 而且沒有我的205/45/16(曰本R呔至少50扁平率). 咁橋, 這size又要R呔只有K記V70A有出, 之前聞所未聞. 於是一試朝鮮呔($2800, 清風街, X記, 行貨). 只是呔紋有點普通(和曰本R呔紋完全不同), 聽聞有垂直連貫去水紋冇咁易比人告. 第一次用R呔, 朝鮮呔配曰耳曼車. 呔壁比較硬, 呔噪也高. 咬地能力也比RE-01高了一個境界(用這個比喻Simon兄容易明白), 令人信心十足, 至於耐用性也算和$打過平手. 用了兩個月, OK! Simon有机會可一試! 對不起! 長篇大論, 希望冇悶親你. 最后3件事
1)為甚麼MX-5會叫小金車? 想不通也找不到答案
2)6 June 那 ALFA GTV 紅色漂亮極, 有多些大特寫相嗎? 問你因簡單快捷. 
3)深水涉最平泊車: 福榮街入口停車場, 福華街 to 營盤街右轉. 全曰 $8/hr. 24hrs. 不過露天.

I never know HK Fiat Club before until one day I found a small card putting on the windscreen of my GT Punto to introduce your Fiat Club.  I have tried to watch your web site but unfortunately my computer has no Chinese version support and therefore can only watch the English part.  However, your web site is really wonderful and make me know Fiat cars are so great.  I have owned GT Punto for more than three years and found it really powerful and full of driving fun.  Unfortunately I have to sell it out because I will leave Hong Kong for a very long long time.  This is acutally a painful decision beacuse I have treated my Punto like my wife.  I have an idea that if I sell my car through Fiat Club, the buyer must be a Fiat car lover and will also treat my car like his wife.  Simon, can you help me in this event and what procedure should I have to do?
 
My GT Punto is 1996 manufactured, black in colour with full body kid, power upgraded,

 About the chinese... I really want to tell you that you miss a whole lot of things if you can't see the chinese version. Find a computer with chinese support, you will know what i mean by - A WHOLE LOT! My friend.
  About your car, yes, send me a photo, i will put it up on web and see.
  I don't have a good contact yet who is looking for a Punto, but a nice photo will surely attract some.
  By the way, when are you going to leave? Do you have some time to meet before the departure?

Simon 兄, 5月8曰星期六舊机場往觀塘方向, 18:30左右你趕住去邊呀?
我知道你的車和其它Flat也有用RE-01,我也用了1年半,我對RE-01是有點失望.我也曾經是BS的Fans.
RE-01是90年代的RE-71的後代, 經RE-710, RE-711等進化而成, 大約3年換1代. 傳說RE-71&S-01是1 曰本(BS)第1代進世界高性能車胎.RE系列是乾呔王, 而S系列是濕呔王(又靜又快), 又傳說RE-71只是表層咬地, 溶了之後只是一般,只是日本人的營商技倆, 後來一代一代改良, 當年D記 &Y記 還未成氣候.
因某種原因(故事長篇,容後再說), 我用了2手RE-711, 215-40-17 (CORONA 92 - 95, ST-191, 133匹, AT), 朋友說從不響呔&絕對咬地. 用了1年半左右,無論我怎樣開快, 已經夠咬, 真是響都唔響, 我可以講句此呔真是無得頂 (可能CORONA馬力較小). 從此BS是我偶像.
後來換了VR6 (174匹, 24扭力, MT), 得知RE-01面世 (由由傳說RE-01是國寶輪呔, 只供內銷. 查看外國車書, 真發覺只有S-03的廣告, 除了曰本, 只有H.K.有行貨賣), 不要跟車舊S-02, 第一時間 (02年9月) 換了RE-01 (205-45-16), 本人用呔鍾意越簿越好 (起步快&省油,重心低). 根據本人推算, 如果160匹的大Tec用195, 174匹用205應該OK.
但用了半年左右, 便發覺RE-01有名過於實, 問題是RE-01很易響, 吊離合器起步響, 1波盡油轉2波又響, 普通一個彎我也很易把它弄響, 和成班FAN遊車可, 個個都問邊個響呔. 發覺RE-01除了呔質較硬外, 更沒有RE-711的葉片狀呔紋. 可能本人忽咯德/曰制的馬力分別&低轉24扭力, 也可能205不夠用. 有次本人在屯門公路往九龍方向, 在彎路上 (大約160KM/H) 它竟然失控 (好像推尾). 從此我使對RE-01失去信心.
在本地車書此刻也說RE-01是街呔王, 但我覺得它連RE-711也比不上, 因它在一般大皮也響&不夠用似的, 雖然失控也很易救回, 後來用慣了, 同一彎角響与不響我也隨心所欲. 但BS的RE-01不應該這樣不濟的. 近來發覺很多二手15吋放出來, 未必冇因.
車書說RE-01是只次於R呔, Y記的AD07直迫RE-01. 但FAN說於02年出品的AD07超越了RE-01, 連一般用家, 偶然遊車河&大皮人仕也說AD07也比RE-01好. 清風街阿滿說RE-01呔壁比較硬, 但AD07是較咬的.Simon不妨去收收風.
若屬實, 連我的VR6也不夠用, 何況Flat的200匹Turbo, 如果閣下有FAN要換呔, 可考慮AD07的. (D記的DZ101質素&$也只是GIII級數).以上是本人小小心得, 記得回信指教啊!

無錯我好信RE-01，因佢符合我對乾濕地的要求。
首先，我想知你係咪用行貨呔？在哪裏換呢？係咪打夠呔氣？幾時check過？開車後，行咗幾耐响？冬天有無响？而家有無响？輪呔角度正確嗎？有無省呔？呔紋剩翻幾多？
已我經驗，呔氣差2psi已經易响好多，可試依據http://www.thetyrepressuremonitor.com/tyrepressures_volkswagen.html 去打呔氣，頭40psi,尾45psi。冬天易响，地面溫度低D。呔未熱又易响D。
水貨呔質素完全不能估計耐用度和其物料的使用。
輪呔角度不正確，會減低呔與地接觸面而易响D。
講size，薄D闊D一定咬啦，因為薄D呔減少了舒適性，闊D呔增加耗油量，平衡才是最重要。
講牌子型號，我相信有好多叫高性能呔。例如，Michelin PilotSport, Continental ContiSport Contact2, Dunlop DZ101, Pirelli P-Zero, Yokohama AD07, Toyo T1-S, 乜乜物物....無可能用自己錢去比較架。別人說好，又點知佢有乜要求。呔舖老闆介紹更信不過。更不可以諗住慳D去擇好呔。好呔一定貴。
好啦RE-01。也有好多人話AD07好咬，對我來說，我無非只係想用好呔，不是想做產品測試，RE-01用過好就唔試其他啦。我撞過車，全因為呔唔好，所以我對呔嘅開支唔會慳。
VR6同Coupe turbo是同一級數的，相信呔的設定也很相似。
希望資料有用。

    很高興能認識你們。從三月號車主近年經典得知下期預告是Fiat coupe, 高興極了，多年沒見的線條可以再重臨車主..
　
    終於在今期車主看到美極的coupe, 誘人的線條, 來自Delta的引擎, 全是我小學時的夢想。 記得94年年中的車主好像來了一期16v版本的測試報告(希望沒記錯), 那次的文章令我了解快意也有這些性感動人的跑車，更甚的是賓利法連拿設計! 看到手套箱上的標記，有如法利拉般令人自豪的內籠，當時的我只知道這設計室只主力設計法利拉跑車，想不到會將美麗的設計放於一部Fiat身上。
  
   看罷文章，再上來看看網頁，我從google search到這裡，所以一進來不是先來主頁，而是來到simon兄的維修日記，一看.. 很感動，原來雜誌上這部美極的coupe要經過多少的心機與誠意(還有金錢^^)才keep到的，買新車絕對不能"享受"到的樂趣呢~.. 原來自己維修、保養愛車的滿足感是這麼大，真令我深深感到羨慕。^^
   小弟只是一位看車書大的呆弟，成年後這數年也沒立起心場儲錢考車牌(下年, 小弟一定會考好車牌)，加上初踏社會，還未有能力養車，但很高興能在網頁分享到你們為愛車所做的事，所付出的努力，很想快點成為車主呢!!!.. 雖然我沒有coupe, 但也希望能成為大家的一份子，大家一起愛自己所喜歡的、獨特的Fiat coupe!!^^

Fiat Coupe得你欣賞，我們真有福。無錯，就是那線條令人着迷，是那內涵令人想擁有，是那長長的維修令他有趣。如果你欣賞這趣味，你可以部署以意大利車作第一架車。我們會裏的人每次聚頭也有說不完的話題，全因為這着迷的車。
維修上金錢不是很多，其實好似分期付款買車，個個月比俾整。平平地買入，整兩年乜都穩定啦，之後就等於養一架無保養的新車。最好的是，改用補品時棄舊用新無咁肉赤。
考車牌不要等下年了，即刻報名，排定期，學車考車等吓等吓都年尾，新年出雙糧就有$買二手車。
努力努力。

i am jacob, from taiwan.  it is very nice to view your website.  i think it is the best fiat coupe website on the internet.  i have a 95 16v coupe.  original was red color, i had a body painted to yellow, i think it is the best color.  i was thinking to sell my car last year, however, the dealer said any different color will cause about $15,000 NT deduction on the price, because the exterior and interior color is different.  therefore, i will change my car in red again next month.  After that, i will keep the car for few years because i just spent around $40,000 NT to change the tires & maintenance last month.  may i ask you a couple of the questions, the black plastic in the headlight is broken, see the photo, do i have change the whole set, or just the plastic cover,  & how much will it cost in HK, any used one, and how can i get it??  i am also thinking to get a big body styling, any recommendations??

      thanks for your compliment. It's good that you can read chinese, the contents are quite precious I think. In fact, I am quite proud of the articles I wrote. : )
      Considering the deduction in price... well..NTD15000, it's not too much, is it? if you respray it to red, it will probably cost you another NTD40000! why not just leave it with yellow, i believe you can attract a buyer easier and have a higher resell value, which in turn becomes more valuable.
       a new LHD right hand side head lamp is 46303558 and will cost you HKD4000!!!! i recommend you to check with Andy in taiwan, I believe he can find you a proper set of headlights.  [To: Andy, Hi andy, can you help Jacob with a headlamp?Thanks] We have a couple of spare headlights in HK, but they are right hand drive which shines to the other side of the road, not that compatible.

   it's very nice to learn that we've got another Coupe joining us and the most wonderful thing is that you seems to be supporting your boy friend in participating this car club.
   It seems to be very difficult to convince a girl or a woman to support her man or husband to spend time and money on cars, and it is rare that you are supporting him on the first hand. OK, things are starting to become easier. Congratulations to him.
   I must assure you that you and your man have joined the right club. We are using these Italian babies to create a life style, an atmosphere that is not man exclusive, a small community that made up of families.
   97 Coupe 20v turbo, Yellow $98000 is not cheap but we haven't seen a good one selling at any price. So, you've got the only one. I believe Yellow is the most suitable colour to make our Coupe outstanding. But don't be deceived by the low mileage, Italian cars need to keep running.
   My advice is to bring it to our maintenance network to have a check up to ensure it has a good health.

I own a 1997 red Fiat Coupe Turbo 20v and I am really pleased to have found your very useful website.

It is one of the best drives anywhere for any money but recently I needed to look around for a new 4 door car.  Frighteningly, I even considered selling my Fiat, but NO MORE!!  And your website is one of three that has convinced me to hold on to it, NOT to mention the completely stupid trade in price of $40,000 (the HK Audi dealer incidentally) I was given for it!

My coupe is in pretty decent condition (24,000 kms) and it was serviced by AutoItalia and Challenger until they went belly up.  If I want to give it a thorough health check and some performance improvements, who would you recommend to do it?

  sorry about the late reply. I usually reply on the same date, but these few days I have been out with my friends to look for MX-5. : ) To further experiment with the successful structure of our club.
  I am really happy to have you withdrawn the idea of selling Coupe. It will live, just believe me. It will live up like a legend. With the help from our members, our parts supplier, our service providers, we can almost solve all problems happens in our Coupe and in our Fiat. We are now trying to do better and speed up the process, reduce the time of Vehicle Off-Road.
   If you have your car serviced in good hands at the early days, I believe it can last much longer. Don't let it go with ease. Let's fight this war together.
   I think we shall gather some time next month to celebrate that we have you joining us. So that all of us can enjoy the success of their effort in creating this Hong Kong Fiat Club.
   I wish you a healthy life and a healthy car.

我睇咗你個網成年啦.你呢個網介紹Fiat啲汽車非常詳細,亦覺得你好比心機去寫同影.這點實在令小弟對你十分敬佩.希望你繼續努力.
其實我好鍾意歐洲車,尤其意大利同法國車,雖然呢兩個國家造嘅汽車維修方面都比每個車主十分多麻煩,我亦曾經感同身受,但係佢比到你地嘅,其他國家剗車又末必比到你,真叫人又愛又恨.
喺香港玩呢類車嘅人唔算多,前幾年Internet末流行,真係好難搵到佢地嘅資料,所以98年我架Alfa 75搵唔到零件先至劏咗,換轉而家我就死都整番佢.,我而家都仲好後悔啊!!
講番而家我就用緊架日本車Nissan Cedric,仲要係自動波,樂趣無乜但勝在無需經常修理,節省咗時間同金錢(除咗油費-$2for 1km),但我想換一架Fiat Punto GT,未知版主你有什麼意見同評價以作參考.我想問其他車可否參加你們車會活動呢?

你做既fiat web-site好正呀! 雖然我唔你fiat車主, 但都成日上嚟睇下你D維修心得，吸收下多D汽車知識。

我依家揸緊架Opel 1997 Vectra, 全原裝直版, 15吋呤 195/R15呔, 我成日覺得架車入彎時有D飄, 重有D响呔情形;(車速不高), 但條呔只係用咗唔夠半年, 呔氣我用 前30/後30磅, 請問如何改善其入彎performance ?? 最好唔駛大改架車啦......

入彎時有D飄？我盡能力答你吧。不錯，如你電郵的主題已指出關鍵避震、彈弓、呔。這三樣的關係是相連的。
未知你用什麼呔呢？呔最緊要。換了呔再改彈弓避震。
你是否用緊195/55R15呔
我建議的牌子你一定覺得悶。呔 - 石橋牌RE-01，彈弓避震 - Eibach彈弓和Bilstein避震。因為我用過，知他們很適合我的城市高性能要求。入彎表現必定大大提升。但要差不多一萬蚊喎。算唔算大改？
或者可以試試，在凍車時先提高前呔氣至36psi和保持後呔氣在30psi。嘗試先加強前呔的硬度，有改善就再將後呔氣提高到32psi。但必須小心行事。

Sorry for the delay. Yes it is more than 6 months!!

The main reason was that I changed my email soon after I got your message
and then my computer altogether. So I didn't really have a chance to look at
your email and so your site. I am really sorry.

That is a wonderful site. And I really appreciate your effort put into the
site. That should no doubt form one of the Global Fiat Coupe Community. Be
warned, it could one day consume all of your time, just like KJ.

With your site and most probably many other coupe's owners help and info, I
would most definitely bring my coupe back with me should I go back to HK. In
fact, I went back HK for Xmas and new year a couple of months ago. And I
even bum into Alfa Club on top of Tai Mo Shan, where they were shooting
video for a couple of wonder classic Alfa.

  yellow is a good colour. Average is about $65,000 for private sale. Dealer usually sell it at $75,000 for an average condition car. For good looking ones with full service history, you may see price tag up to $85,000.
  Now, the price will depend on the outer condition and service history. If an Italian car has been service in no-name garages, it worthes nothing.

This is Kent Yip - a Fiat, Lancia lover. Actually, I sent my car pictures for selling my car on your msn group but I would like to get back the request. After I read all your web site information, I changed my mind. I'm very sorry for selling my car without consideration.

I would like to replace or repaint my central panel. As you know, the material of the panel is very easy to crash. The story is : I send the car to "Challenger" but they use some chemical cleaning solvent to clean the panel and as the result, it was crashed. :( Would you please let me know where and who should I contact? And also the cost.

Btw, your web site is very beautiful and attractive. I believe there is no reason for people who don't like this site unless they don't love coupe.

 your announcement really cheered me up. Yes, you'd better consider coming out for a few gatherings, enjoy this Coupe life with your family and friends and you will once again enjoy this life as a Fiat lover again. Fiat did let us down, Lancia give us nothing but left hand drives, but I can assure you, now, Hong Kong, at this moment, Fiat is NO sad story, it has a promising young land that awaiting your participations.
 Every coupe's centre panel dies, no big worry, and almost every one of us has tried some method to remove the dead rubber, not many succeeded. Perhaps, come out some day and feel how some of the successful repainted-centre-panel like. If you are are a DIY sort of guys, let's find a Saturday or Sunday, and we shall remove the centre panel together and repaint that thing.
 Well, thank you very much for your compliment, I will keep building up the site.

Thank you Simon.  In fact this is the third time I purchased a Fiat
Coupe, 1st one is a green 20V NA, then I saw a 20V turbo 2 months later
and test drove it then trade in with the same dealer.  3 years later I
found your web site and decided to buy one again.

I went to DAS in CLK today asked for a quote to repaint the car, the
mechanics told me there is various sign of rust near the windscreen
rim.  Have you noticed similar syndrome before, I am still waiting for
the quotation, looks like it needs a new windscreen seal to get it done
properly.

Anyway, well done for your Club and the fabulous website, I will try my
best to meet you and other members on 11/1.

   OK, member please proceed as follows:
1. Enter your Coupe and start the engine, drive at usual speed for 10
minutes to warm up your smiles
2. Accelerate to 80km/hr on a 70 limited highway and check other drivers'
attention
3. Slow down to 50km/hr inside city centre like TST and Causeway Bay and
enjoy pedestrians' admiration
4. Brake on the country side and digitize the enviroment with your Coupe
5. Remain inside the driver cabin as often as possible.

Oh well, in fact, this Hong Kong Fiat Coupe Club is just a fun club. We just
gather at a usual time and drive around in convoy, dinner together
sometimes, Christmas party just like a recent one, Site visit to DAS where
our Coupe is serviced, etc.. but this are all free, we share the fun
together. Just that. So, to be one of us? Just come and join our gatherings.
The coming one is on 11/1 Sunday 7:00am Old airport departure hall. See you
there.

Please send me a picture of your car when you have time.
BTW, Hamo is our fun manager who will contact you when gathering is around.

  As you are driving a VR6, I really want to introduce you a bunch of great guys Raymond and ah Chai and their Vorsicht they are the ones who showed me how to establish a club and how a good motor club should be. They established a very well VW and Audi club for fans around Hong Kong. I know that they have gatherings every Friday, I think you'd also enjoy seeing them.

2. 儲風箱。 儲風箱係一件名符其實?箱，作用係儲風。: )
                你想加速時會踩油，踩油打開蝴蝶掩，空氣由外間經風格，沿進氣喉
經蝴蝶掩，沿生氣批經進氣嘩佬進入引擎燃燒室。試想如果一踩油打開蝴蝶掩之際就有
一大舊空氣?個蝴蝶掩前面，兜口兜面湧入去，唔駛等行完進氣喉，即叫即到，油門反
應咪快好多囉。
3. 地線。其實只係一條連接電池負極和車身和引擎的一條粗電線。汽車利用車身作為
共用的負極而引擎所有sensor和點火系統就利用引擎本身作負極；只要這負極可源源不
絕提供電力連接，車上所有電力系統便可運作正常，包括冷氣！

You did a great job on your page! Keep going on!
I have some questions about supension. I own a 92 Saab 900s convertibe. The rear supension has some abnormal sound when I bought it! I took her to garage and replace the 4 piston (the brand is MONROE). After that no more abnormal sound is heard however the ride quality is not good at all. The suspension quality is just as good as a HiAce van. Is there any way to improve the ride quality? or a better piston like Bilstein is better?

  Haven't received much encouragement lately, and your letter brings me lots of sunshine. I am very delighted.
  Yes, shock absorbers will wear out and when they died, they made noises. Your garage did a good job in replacing them.
  And shock absorbers must match with springs. Springs do the supporting role and shock absorbers to damp out the oscillation. Therefore, a poor ride quality means the new shock absorbers do not match the springs. Even a set of Bilstein shock absorbers doesn't mean you will have execellent ride quality.They need a set of suitable springs to work together.
  Monroe.. in fact, Monroe is very well known for good ride quality. So, your shock absorbers may not be the true suspect here.
  I will rather think of it is the springs being the real cause. Imagine 1.6 ton sitting on 4 springs for 11 years, it will only mean the springs have slaken somehow. It they have not been replaced during its life, their reduced spring rate will not be able to control the bouncing weight, and the shock absorbers have to damp out the oscillation. As a result, a lot of hard vibrations will be experienced. 好"蹬"
  But if they are replaced before with lowered and hard springs, the original shock absorbers may be tortured to death and assuming even this new Monroe are too soft for the springs. As a result, the ride will be like riding a boat, very "浪"
  Well, what can we do at this moment is to check the ride height of the car.
  Set the car on level ground, check the distance between the top of the wheel arch and the ground. And do the measurement on four wheels.
  If the left and right are not the same and have difference for more than 5mm or the car is sitting very low to the ground but the spring very soft, that means the springs have slackened and need replacement. I will guess you have been fitted with a set of soft Monroe with good ride quality rather than hard Monroe with sport handling. So, a set of original springs will be enough to restore the excellent ride quality which Saab 900 designed to have.
  Well... I hope your car will bring you happiness again.

有冇想過當你在快速公路遇上些自以為快之蝸牛駕駛者, 在七十公里限速之快速公路上, 以靠近六十公里之時速捨棄全無車影之慢線, 而頑固地在快線上行駛, 但奈何中線又被重型貨車佔据. 駕駛直覺會誘使你駛進慢線, 然後深踏油門沿慢線疾走, 轉瞬間已超越自以為快之車輛. 若剛巧鐵馬在這時現身, 試想後果如何?
A. 慢線超越它車之車輛被票控.
B. 快線慢駛之車輛被票控.
C. 以上兩者皆被票控.

以上事件乃根據事實報導, 並非虛構, 如有雷同, 純屬巧合.

你的分析非常正確, 事實這也是鐵馬的選擇, 答案是A, 事件是十年前在屯門公路發生.若從法律觀點著眼, 三部車也應被票控. 自此之後, 被票控之司机遇到此情況時以學曉對策....基本上此情況經常在吐露港公路及屯門公路發生(唔知點解D貨櫃車咁鐘意行中線唔行慢線!), 尤以在每晚也駛經之吐露港南行介乎大埔北與大埔南之S彎位上落斜路段, 方法一, 檢視四周環境有冇可疑之公路巡警才行動. 二, 為安全計再買個保險扮淡定駛入慢線, keep住在慢線上絕塵而去(就算在慢線上須在超越前車, 也迅速即時駛返慢線繼續前駛).

 依我理解，相信在慢線超越它車之車輛會被票控.A。因為他/她違反了374Q第13條條文
超車 - 快速公路上汽車的駕駛人如無合理辯解，不得在被其超越的任何其他一部或多
部車輛的左邊超越該車輛或該等車輛，除非─
(a) 在該處有交通標誌，顯示行車綫分叉，而超越其他車輛的車輛及正被超越的車輛正
駛往不同轉向的車路；或
(b) 正被超越的車輛是固定不動的。

因為在理想的公路模式下而慢線全無車影，重型貨車應該在慢線，而快線蝸牛駕駛者應
亦在慢線。如果要抄，重型貨車應該被抄。

但若想爬頭，必先放棄爬頭心態。實則虛之，虛則實之地駛入慢線，而不很即時地轉回
中線，超車便不成立，只是在慢線行駛較快。

Gary啊，道路使用者必須容忍...又試想如果要令快線蝸牛駕駛者醒D、有D公德心、有D
牌品、知"訂"，都唔知會浪費幾多公帑，倒不如自嘆一句唔好彩吧。

hi this is a random writer. I also have a Fiat coupe 16V and this becomes the very first car that I owned. That is why I like this car so much and drove me to seek for some keen Fiat coupe fans. I bet I'm a rare one because I'm a female Fiat coupe fans hah.

I'm an university student in London but it's too extravagant to own a car in London. Since owning a car here is so expensive and inconvenient, I'm preparing to sell it off.

How sad, I hardly forget the feeling when I firstly bought this car.

  Isn't this Coupe a very lovely car to enjoy? At first, I thought I just want to own it for 3 years and then move on to another car. But 3 years now, it is giving me more and more wonderful time. Turbo rush, great head turners, practicality and most important of all, the community that grows with my Coupe. I must admit yellow is the only colour I want to have on this baby.
  Bel, I understand it is very difficult to say goodbye to her. It's like ... it's like... a song "She left with me a part of her", you know it?
  I really don't want to think of selling her off. I don't want to see her wasted by someone. But for once, when I was re-structuring my personal financial situation, I need to make up a few plans for situations like what if I get sacked, what if i crashed. Well, with some luck, I am still able to keep her in one piece.

I'm your cousin!! hahaah... . what a surprise. Got your address in your Coupe hp, your hp is very good indeed for the informative content...It's a really nice place for me to hang around during office hour. hahaha... u know... sometimes it's quite boring sitting in front of the monitor for 9 hours a day.

You know i really like fiat coupe, not only the appearance but also the performance. You must have all eyes fallen on you with the car!

If i got a chance later i must have to buy one. So that i can learn something about maintenance too (u know, it's cool to keep a car like this no matter if it's a brand new model or not).

Anyway, teach me more about your car next time we met and wish that i can own one sooner or later.

Just want to say it is too good to find such a nice website about Fiat in Hong Kong. I look through the website, very interesting especially the sections about car maintainence. You know we must keep maintain our Fiats so as to keep them running on the streets.
 
I am a owner of 2 Fiat Puntos. 1 is Punto Cabrio and the other is Punto GT. I love these 2 cars so much as they both have unique styles and distinguishing characteristics over japanese cars.
 
Let's keep in touch, I know I must have things to ask you when I got problems about my favorite Fiats.

  thank you very much for visiting my site. I am glad that you find my maintenance works interesting. Indeed, yes, I spent a lot of time keeping it up and making it possible to work every day. And I am amused that throughout these 3 years with this Coupe, the work I spent on it is so huge that occupies five big pages and almost every month there was something i need to fix. But, it is still running fine and quick. I really love this babe.
   Punto GT, yummy. turbo babe. Heard that it is a fast and nimble car. How is it?

Hi,

 Just finished reading your website, it's really really professional and informative!
 Actually I love driving so much and would like to install Eibach spring
and Bilstein shocks to my vehicle, just like the setting of yours Coupe.
However, I found that the price I obtained from various so called tuning company is much much higher than what you have told. In addition, I don't know whether they have such technique to give me the best setting on those parts.

 Therefore, would you please recommend a RELIABLE tuning shop I can go for?

you like my web. I will keep up the writings. Your E-mails will never bother
me, they will just encourage me.
  Bilstein and Eibach, if you are going after the Sprintline kit, sothere's no setting you need to do or nothing you can do.  It is Eibach and Bilstein that gives the best handling and comfort to your car, not the tuning shop. Just find a garage to put them straight on. Nothing to bother, just perfect and worry-free.
  About the ordering, if you do it in Hong Kong, you are likely to experience extended waiting time and at the end delays. There is nothing wrong with
the shops ordering for you, just that it is not the optimum benefits when
doing your single ordering. I will recommend you to do the ordering from
overseas.

   My reliable supplier is Demon Tweeks. It's website is www.demon-tweeks.co.uk contact steve kerr SteveK@demon-tweeks.co.uk , he's responsible for all my orderings for 5 years since my 205GTi times. He is reliable, no worry. They are real experts in doing overseas ordering, shipping fees and product price are precise, delivery time is punctual. I think these are all my requirements.  :  )  Just ask him for a quote, it's no harm and I am sure you will enjoy.

I have got my Fiat Coupe 16V from 97' to 2000' Oct. GZ8731
And I sold it to someone on 15 Oct at CarNet in Kowloon Bay.

Actually, I feel so sad at the moment cause I love the car
very very much. But no choice !

Anyway, that is big surprise to me found the car still alive and

 Hi, 我估香港無乜書局會keep呢類書。但你大可在amazon.co.uk中訂購無須擔心。300蚊樓下啦。

21st century performance大約$350倒，內容絕不片面。雖然所有汽車原理就是一樣，但21st century performance和4-stroke performance tuning不同之處是前者是用改裝街車作例子，而後者較賽車化，有時很難令我投入。如兩本比較，我會喜歡21st century performance。

I have just got the opportunity to read through your exciting homepage regarding the Fiat Coupe 16V Turbo, it is very informative and I find it beneficial to the minority coupe owners in Hong Kong. In fact, I got the chance to meet Kevin, one of your Club member, in April in Kam Tin and obtained the name card for the Fiat Coupe & Lotus Elise Club, I much regretted that I missed the opportunity to meet with those coupe owners during the recent gathering.

I owned the Fiat Coupe (in red colour) for more than 3 years and got more than 60k km on it, although it is my second car, I find it is a wonderful and enjoyable vehicle to ride on, and I am glad to share the wonderful experience in owning it and in maintaining it in excellent condition.

I am looking forward to meet other Club members in near future.

I have also driven for a quite a long way in my Coupe. It's my only car and somehow it works quite well, so I make it run all over Hong Kong. I really like this car. And after taking care of it for three years, I like it more. Yes yes. It's really a good lovely babe.

小弟有興趣買架二手fiat coupe作為假日車之用，但我想請問你一些問題

我有四年電單車路面經驗，但講到四個輪，經驗係零，此車適唔適合新手喳？易唔易操控？

養此車貴唔貴，油錢約幾多一公里？全年維修保養約幾錢？

　

此車只有手波，你沒問題吧。: ) 新手? 四年路面經驗絕非新手。頭轆驅動，操控易。沒有甩尾任何突兀表現。你大可放心。

油錢… 除非車有問題或駕駛不當，市區耗油量絕不超過$1.5，郊區可做到$1.2。而我的16valve turbo 只用$0.81 一公里，因我不開冷氣，經常轟大帽山令引擎健康，常換偈油和風格，加上平時小心使用油門，所以可以做到慳油。

維修開支方面：視乎你買了的Coupe 狀况，一般開支，以16v turbo計，白金火咀4支約$160，風格約$150，油格$45，偈油6L，人工一小時。一年做兩次，你話可以貴得去邊?
